It’s kind of funny, but God has a sense of humor. Last week I spoke about trials and tests and how they create patience. And one thing about being a Bible teacher is that you have to practice what you preach. It takes me awhile to put together a show, it’s a lot of work, but it’s a labor of love. Between day-to-day life and writing the lessons, preparing the message and sifting through hundreds of songs and putting together a lesson it can take a long time. This week I have been sending emails to prospective artists asking for permission to play their songs and no one was responding. My feelings were getting hurt. I recently added a link to the pod class at the bottom of the email and I thought maybe they were listening to the podclass and thought “this guy stinks!” Well right before I was getting ready to make this update. One of the artist just responded. And I thought about last week’s message on patience. God has a great sense of humor. Don’t forget to send me an email, I would enjoy to hear from you. We are continuing our series in “Major Themes of the Old Testament”. We will continue with one of the Greatest Men of the Old Testament Abraham – the Father of our faith. I know this will be a very important lesson because this is a foundation for understanding the Old Testament and even part of the new. Again I will show you a glimpse of Jesus in the Old Testament thousands of years before he was born. And if you have ever been curious about what faith is. And how the faith of Christianity and of Abraham is different than many other religions we will answer it next week when we study another great passage of the Bible Hebrews chapter 11. I think you will find this lesson very intriguing. Also we are in the works for some great music by some wonderful artist. We have a little country twang and a beautiful ballad.
